Bread Pudding Goes Italian

Bread pudding is one of the easiest and yummiest dishes that I have tried till now. Trust me, Italian version is way better. It’s also my favorite because it has made my table shine when guests (Read uncalled guests) come over. Just make sure that you always have these ingredients in your home because collecting them in a short span of time can be a daunting task. Italian Bread Pudding Recipe

  • 3 cups French bread (cubed)
  • 3 oz butter (melted) 3 oz
  • 1 cup milk 1 cup
  • 1 packet cream
  • 4 eggs
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla Essence
  • Salt a pinch
  • * For caramel sauce
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugugar
  • 4 oz butter
  • 4 oz cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup


In a sauce pan mix all the ingredients of caramel sauce and cook till they all get saucy.

Cut the French bread into cubes and mix them along with the melted butter.

Put it greased ramekins.

In bowl mix milk, cream, orange juice, eggs, sugar, vanilla and pinch of salt together.

Pour the following mixture on top of the bread.

Bake it on 180 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes and drizzle it with caramel sauce. You can also serve it with ice cream.
